Let Your Guard Down
Let's be real - you've been through a lot. There was a moment you genuinely didn't think you could make it but here you are. In spite of all your doubt you survived every hardship, moved through every difficult experience. Instead of feeling strong, capable, adaptable, resilient, tenacious...you feel tired, weary, apprehensive, distrustful, guarded.
The fear of repeating your experience keeps your walls up. At this point, your walls are such an integrated part of your personality (ego) that you don't realize they are there being fiercely guarded by your subconscious. Of course, this is also blocking the magic and the mystery, the love and the sweetness of this world from reaching you. Those walls block out the “bad” AND the “good”. They are simply fear filters you place over your infinite energy that hinder its natural flow. They keep you idle and they keep you shut off from the fullness of this experience.
Letting your guard down is a process. It takes healing. There isn't a rainbow at the end that keeps you in a feel good all the time experience of life. It brings you back to your strength and sovereignty as a capable being and expression of creative lifeforce. We have a lot to do here on earth as a team and we need active participants in life.
Life is a play… a gamble. You have to risk it for the reward and fortune truly does favor the brave. Trust yourself. You've made it this far. All of the falls are simply the slingshot pulling you back so it can shoot you forward at lightspeed. Strap in and enjoy the ride! Everything you seek is on the other side of your fear.
